Access when delivering your buildings

We promise to provide our service to you at our highest level of standards, but sometimes we need your help to do that.

Tight corner

Making sure the building is able to get from the lorry to the base is one of the first jobs on site.

We will ask you a range of questions on access when your order is being placed. Please take some time to scout your home to make sure there are no issues that would prevent your building being delivered on the day.

What we need to know

We want to make sure that the delivery day runs smoothly. So during the ordering process we will ask about access listing some possible issues that may prolong the installation or even stop us installing on the day. (Something we don't want to have to do.)

Height Restriction

Here's a list of considerations..

  • Height Restrictions
  • Door canopy (pictured left)
  • A bar across the top of a gate.
  • Rose Arches
  • Distance to carry
  • of no more than 50 metres
  • of no more than 20 steps up or down
  • Through house
  • This includes through tighter doorways, tighter turns and internal height restrictions.
  • Over Walls/buildings
  • Such as via a neighbours
  • Back lane
  • Permission to access neighbours
  • We need to be aware of this before hand
  • Permits to park
  • Some areas require permits to park, to avoid any fines we need to be notified of this before delivery day otherwise the cost may be passed to you.
  • Tight Corners
  • Tight corners will cause some issues when we need to get a long panel through to the base.

There may be more to consider, if you are unsure, let us know. Or even do a video from where the lorry would park and walk through to where the base would go; this would help us alot.*

*For large buildings we tend to visit site for our peace of mind but there's no harm to be prepared with a video.

As long as we are made aware of any issues to access, we can act accordingly. Lets work together to make sure that it all runs smoothly.
